Bhubaneswar, February 27, 2008 POSCO-India is not connected to slum eviction drive started by CTC Municipal Corporation. It has been reported in some sections of the press on 26th Feb'08 that the slum eviction drive started by the Cuttack District Administration and Cuttack Municipal Corporation is to provide water to POSCO steel plant. We would like to clarify that the statement is untrue and POSCO-India is not connected to this drive even remotely.
