Synopsis: With land acquisition for major industrial projects moving at a slow pace due to resistance from land oustees, the CM said “dialogue with the displaced” was essential to pave the way for peaceful industrialization. The CM’s reactions followed the clash between those opposing and supporting the mega POSCO project as well as the Assocham suggesting the Govt. to adopt a more flexible land acquisition policy.

“Violence should be always avoided. My Government believes in peaceful industrialization,” the CM said.
