Synopsis: Top POSCO-India officials, along with executives from South Korea visited the company’s proposed plant site villages on 28th February and interacted with the villagers likely to be displaced for the project. The Company’s Executive Director Mr. U.B. Patnaik, GM Mr. Ardhendu Mohapatra, Sr. Official Mr. Basanta Jena as well as Mr. G.W. Sung visited the area.

They received good response from the villagers. Hundreds of villagers including senior members from the United Action Committee held discussions with the company officials on the project profile.
